My journey with God have been a blessing and I'm not saying all was good rather there were challenges and great experiences through these past few years. I lost my job in Las Vegas after 6 years and at that time I knew God was closing a chapter in my life to begin a new one.
We've moved from Las Vegas to Montrose Colorado in 2011 in Faith to follow God and serve as Worship Pastor at the First Church of the Nazarene in Montrose Colorado. It was then that I realized my journey on earth will need to be simplified. We gave up our home in Las Vegas but it took over 2 tears until it was sold. It was financially challenging and God gave us peace, patience and Grace to take "one step" at a time.
In our time in Montrose from 2011 through 2014, God blessed us with new opportunities, jobs, school and with wonderful friends whom we called "family". Somehow, I knew that this was not going to be long term and just a "bridge" while God prepares a place for us. "What, not another move?"
It is always "sad" and difficult to leave friends, ministry and a home we made and "scary" to move to an unknown place and start over again. Although this is not the first time we've moved our faith and trust in God has always been our roots and somehow God blesses our roots we leave behind. We continue to keep in touch with friends we had ministry with.
I am looking forward to our new chapter and see what God will bring. In March 2014, God opened a new job opportunity in Louisville, Colorado. We found a small home in town and will be moving June 28.
I pray the pages in the chapter(s) to come will be filled with new life, friends, and blessings.
